               ** DepEd Standard for Teacher-Student and Classroom-Student Ratio for Elementary School is 1:35

Through kindergarten classes, both government and private sector provide pre-school education to 1,939 pupils. Juan Morente Sr. Memorial Pilot School accounted the highest enrolment for the SY 2015-2016. All private institution shows adequacy in both number of kindergarten teacher and classroom however, there was a shortage in 20 public schools. The highest recorded teacher-student ratio was 1:79 in Pili Elementary School and classroom-student ratio was 1:63 in Papandayan Elementary School.

Historical Enrolment

Table 30 shows that for the past 3 years, the highest increase of enrollment in kindergarten class was 37 pupils in JMPSMPS while the highest decrease of enrollment was 58 pupils in DARMES. Overall, there was a total decrease of 66 pupilsin enrollmentfor SY 2015-2016  in kindergarten in public and private elementary schools.
