Based on the actual survey, public and private elementary schools logged a total of 13,058pupils on which 94 percent were enrolled in public schools. They were attended by 466 teachers and distributed in 446 classrooms. There were more males than females who were enrolled in elementary schools. JMSMPS recorded the highest number of enrolles with 1,892 pupils while Jesus Is Lord Colleges Foundation has the lowest number of enrolles with only 28 pupils.

 

All private elementary schools met the required DepEd target of 1:35 teacher-student and classroom-student ratio while 5 public elementary schools failed to meet the standard (see Table 31). Papandayan Elementary School recorded thehighest teacher-student ratio (1:40) and highest student-classroom ratio (1:51).

Overall, with the teacher to student ratio of 1:28, Pinamalayan elementary education is highly adequate and the teachers handle lesser students compared to national standard of 1:35. As to classroom to student ratio of 1:29, the municipality has an adequacy of number of classrooms.
